How to dry cassava starch? Flash dryer for starch drying

In cassava starch making process, drying is an important and necessary step. By drying, the wet starch with a water content of 38%-40% will be reduced to dry cassava starch with a water content of 14%.The produced cassava starch can be preserved for a longer time after drying. But how to dry cassava starch?

In cassava starch processing plant, flash dryer is the normally used machine for starch drying. The air enters the flash dryer from filter where it becomes clean and then be heated. Then the hot clean air mix with wet starch in pulse tube, through heat exchange, the wet starch will be dried in just a few seconds. After that, the air will be discharged through the exhaust exit. And dry starch enters into the collection bucket.
