Flash dryer mainly consists of screw feeders, drying tubes, cyclones, heat exchangers, fans, and exhaust tubes.

Firstly wet cassava starch power will be sentin to a drying tube through a screw feeder. Then wet starch will mix with hot air inside and complete the drying process. The drying speed isvery fast and it just needs several seconds to finish drying. Finally, dried starch will be discharged by cyclones.To ensure the stable moisture content of the final product, an interlocking and automatic control system is equipped. By monitoring the temperature of inlet air and outlet air, the screw feeder speed will be automatically controlled. If the outlet temperature is high, the screw feeder willbe sped up, otherwise, the screw feeder willbe slowed down, guaranteeing final starch has specific moisture content.

The whole drying system adopts negative pressure,so that pressure inside is lower than air temperature, preventing starch from leaking out to the air and ensuring high starch yield and a working environment clean.
