What are the sections of cassava starch processing line?

The cassava starch processing plant consists of three sections: the cleaning section, the processing section, and the drying section. The production line, starting from the input of fresh cassava tubers and ending with the finished cassava starch packaging, is fully automatic and can guarantee a high yield of starch.

The cleaning section

This part is the pre-treatment section of cassava starch processing line. First, put the fresh cassava tubers into the feeding hopper, and then transport them to the dry screening machine through the belt conveyor. The dry sieving machine will remove the impurities attached to the surface of the cassava. The cassava is then thoroughly washed using a paddle washer.

The processing section

This section consists of two parts: cassava crushing and cassava starch separating. The washed cassava is firstly cut into small pieces by a cutter and then dropped into a cassava grater for thoroughly crushing. Here the cassava starch will be released as much as possible, ensuring a high yield of final starch. And then comes the cassava starch separating part. In this part, the cassava puree is pumped into a centrifuge sieving machine to remove fibers, and then through a hydrocyclone separation station to separate protein and cell fluid to obtain purified cassava starch milk.

The drying section

This section will be divided into two parts: cassava starch dehydration and drying. Starch milk from the processing section is firstly pumped into the dehydrator. Then we can get wet cassava starch. After that, the wet cassava starch will be sent to flash dryer for final drying. The flash dryer completes the drying of starch in a short time. After drying, a sieving machine and a packing machine will be used to sieve and pack the final qualified cassava starch.
