Working principle of yuca peeler

The yuca peeler operates by feeding raw yuca tubers into the machine from the front section, which then land on the rollers. These rollers are driven by a reducer, operating at a moderate speed, with sandpaper on their surface that effectively removes the skin of the yuca. As the yuca rotates and moves along the rollers, the contact area between the yuca and the rollers changes, ensuring that the entirety of the skin is removed.

A pushing screw located at the back of the yuca peeler steadily moves the peeled yuca towards the tail end at a speed that can be adjusted based on the desired peeling effect. This allows for the yuca to remain on the rubbing rollers for the appropriate amount of time. Additionally, a rinsing water pipe located above the machine continuously flushes the yuca and any residue from the rollers, maintaining their peeling efficiency.

The washed yuca peel residue is discharged from the lower part of the machine through a slag discharging device, which can be connected to a screw conveyor for efficient removal of the waste.
